In 1991, Pro Circuit put together their first race team in the 125cc class. And since that first year on 2-strokes, to the present day on 4-strokes, the Pro Circuit race team has won over 140 AMA races and 22 AMA titles.
Since 1991, Pro Circuit Racing has fielded the strongest, most consistent team on the AMA circuit. Starting with Honda equipment, then moving to Kawasakis in 1993 and four-strokes in 2004, team owner Mitch Payton has managed to compete for championships every season. In fact, in 2005 and 2007 his riders swept all three Lites-division titles in AMA Supercross and AMA Motocross. Going back to the first starting lineup, which included future champions Jeremy McGrath and Steve Lamson, a total of forty-two riders have lined up for the Pro Circuit race team.
2006 was an incredible year for Pro Circuit. From all the amateur championships, to all the Off-Road Championships. From the World Championships, to all the AMA Championships. And don’t forget about the freestyle titles and world records. Pro Circuit was there for all of them.
